What is deleted — and what must remain

This information is available before sign-in. Account deletion takes place after email verification and according to the choice made for each business.

Deleted on confirmation

  • Your professional profile (name, email, image, and language), sign-in methods, verification tokens, and invitations matching your email are deleted.
  • Your team memberships, mobile sessions, and push notification tokens are deleted. Till profiles linked to a surviving business are disabled and detached from your identity; their scanner sessions are revoked.
  • If you choose to close a business, its stores, team, programs, customers, cards, balances, rewards, visits, transactions, campaigns, terminals, analytics, and tenant logs are deleted with it.

Kept if the business continues

  • If you leave a business or transfer its administration, its operational data and customer data remain under the control of the business and its remaining administrators.
  • In the surviving business’s security and audit records, links to your account are removed and known user references are erased. Anonymized business history remains linked to the business.

Limited retention or anti-replay

  • To prevent reassignment or replay of a purchase, an opaque Store binding identifier, the one-way hash of the subscription identifier, and non-identifying provider, product, period, status, and subscription date information are retained permanently. The reversible provider identifier and every account link are erased; the tombstone contains no name or email.
  • For a web subscription, the Stripe subscription identifier is kept in a technical queue only until cancellation is confirmed, then erased. Payment event identifiers or digests strictly needed for idempotency and anti-replay may remain without a direct link to your account.
  • Anonymized history belonging to a continuing business and records strictly required for a legal obligation, fraud prevention, or a dispute are kept according to the applicable criterion, then deleted or anonymized. No numeric legal period should be assumed until the retention schedule has been legally validated.

Legal validation required before release: confirm the statutory periods that apply to accounting records, disputes, and security traces in each target country. The product does not invent a period where no purge schedule has been implemented.
